Wabash College seeks a Choral Director beginning July 1, 2024. This is a 10-month full-time, non-tenure track position with full benefits.  Initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of conversion to a continuing appointment, dependent on a positive review and College needs and circumstances.  168体育平台下载_足球即时比分-注册|官网 seek a dynamic candidate who is committed to the development of undergraduates and to the artistic evolution of a Glee Club with a long tradition of representing Wabash College across the country and around the world.  A Master of Music in Choral Conducting or strong equivalent is expected. With a master’s degree comes appointment as Associated Faculty. Primary duties include:

  1. Assembling the repertoire and leading the rehearsal, training and performance of the Wabash College Glee Club and choral sub-ensembles.
  2. Managing the administrative duties related to the performance program, including concerts on and off campus.
  3. Teaching one course per semester in the Music major/minor in fundamentals, appreciation, and aural skills.

The Glee Club – an all-male TTBB choir of 30+ students – is Wabash’s premiere choral ensemble with a long history of domestic and international travel. Recent destinations include the Baltic States, Taiwan, Ecuador, England, Scotland, and New York City. On our small liberal arts college campus, there are exciting possibilities for collaborating with our vibrant Theater and Art departments and across the College.
